REFLECTIONS

I come across two softwares in this module that I had never used before enrolling in this degree programme: Photoshop and After Effects. Photoshop is also used in the two other core modules, Typography and Illustration. Because of this, even though I had some difficulties in the first few weeks of the semester, I was eventually able to finish my assignments for all three modules in less time with Photoshop throughout the semester. This is a result of my increasing familiarity with the tools that I have to use. Since Mr. Martin taught us the tools and how to use them in Photoshop during each class and also uploaded video tutorials so we could review outside of the classroom, I think this improvement has a lot to do with the Digital Photography module.

However, I found After Effects to be very challenging. When I first encountered it, it seemed really hard, and it remains a challenge right now. That, I think, is because I didn't do a lot of practice with After Effects. I wish I could get more familiar with this programme because it was fun to make animation.
